About china discus

China discus breeding began later than Malaysia ,Taiwan and Singapore, but recently years a lot of progresses have been made on red melon refining, albino strains and pigeon hybridization with others.

For red melon black specks on fins is very little and the patterns on gills and fins has totally disappeared. The color is even and brightly. Every years China exports a lot of red melon to Malaysia , Singapore and Hongkong. A trader from Malaysia acclaimed that china red melon is top class in the world.

Recently the albino white snow, albino red white, albino red melon, albino snakeskin, albino pigeon and albino blue diamond appeared after albino golden yellow. I think the albino discus would have the best future. The common specks disappeared and the white and red  parts are very clean.

In my gallery there are some pictures of pigeon with different patterns. Some are the descendant of snakeskin and marlboral, some are from pigeon and snakeskin and some from spot snake and pigeon. Because my photograph skill is poor and they could not show up the pigeon's beautiful totally. They were all breed in my farm.

The breeders in china are most family breeders. In one farm there are about 4000-6000 pieces of discus. It is common idea that every discus need breeder's tendance. Because the breeding scale is not large the quality of China discus from the figure to health is very good.

About china other fish

At first I would like to talk china sailfin blood swordtail. The swordtail has large beautiful fin like a opened fan face and dignified red color. They were breed in china  north a few years ago and now could be found everywhere. I found the sailfin swordtail sold in internet are from china.

Molly and platy have some new strains in china which are not be found in other areas. I would take some pictures of them.

A month ago a friend told me there were a new kind of angel fish which were red color fully but I could not see them.

In future days I would like to introduce china fish to  interesting friends.

   Our farm locates in Tianjin China. In past years discus is our main breeding and from last year we began to breed some other tropical fish. We have breeding discus for eight years.

   Our fish exports to America, Russia, Hongkong. We have enough experience in breeding and packaging especially in discus. For discus the living  percent of shipping from Beijing to New York is above 97.

   Recently our farm would pay more attention with albino discus. But there are something with albino that are the less living eggs and fish with flaw and it heavily prohibits the quantity.
